Pre-Assembly Option

You can order any of the Medium-duty or Heavy Duty I-Beam Festoon systems "Pre-Assembled".

With this option the cable is pre-installed onto the trolleys at the correct loop depth, and the system is mounted on a storage beam within a shipping stand.

Installation is easy; just transfer the system from the shipping stand to the host machine. We can also pre-wire the junction boxes.

Heavy Duty I Beam

Conductix Heavy-Duty Cable Festoon systems can handle the most rugged industrial applications, such as port container cranes, steel mill cranes, bulk material handling conveyor systems, and aluminum foundry cranes.

Series 450 Heavy-Duty Cable Festoon systems feature:

• Hot dipped galvanized steel components
• 12 gauge saddles formed from a single piece of steel; no welds to break or rust!
• Rolled saddle edges to prevent cable damage
• Stainless Steel fasteners
• Hardened steel rollers (crowned or flanged) with permanently sealed ball bearings
• Running gear set-ups for most any "S", "W", or metric beam size
• Optional polyurethane tires for quiet operation and minimum beam wear
• 10", 14", and 19" saddle diameters to accommodate a wide variety of cables
• Neoprene bumpers with generous contact area
• Running speeds up to 400 feet per minute
