Pike Poles - Ash

  • 1 1/2 inch diameter handles at thickest section taper to a knob on end
  • Handles turned from second growth American ash with straight grain through entire handle length and air dried
  • Ash is used in Pike Poles because it is lighter in weight than other woods offering extremely long grains, resulting in resiliency of tearing before breaking
  • Offered in lengths from 6 feet through 16 feet, normally in two foot increments
  • Pike hook manufactured from a single piece of high carbon steel and drop forged
  • Shanks are threaded to allow screwing into handle
  • Pike points have twisted thread resisting removal unless half turned after being seated
  • Curved pike and hook and straight pike available on a special order basis
