A combination hoe, tamper, and heavy duty rake manufactured to exact specifications and used by professional fire fighters. Designed for use in matted leaves and loose round rubble when clearing fire lines. Head is formed from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and tempered to provide consistent strength. Hoe edge is 9-3/4" wide and is cut and tapered in a 45: angle, then sharpened to a fine edge. It can be resharpened with a hand file. The six rake teeth are 3-1/2" long and are crimped to add strength. Handle is 4 feet, tapered, straight grain, fine sanded white ash with slight knob on the end. Handle is removable for storage. Replacement head and handle available.
